In the Spread: Upcoming Releases

The In the Spread team is always hard at work on new projects and will keep several in the editing process, so that we can continue to add new sport fishing instructional films and short videos on a regular basis. So, in the spirit of keeping you up to date on what you can expect to watch soon, the following films will be released in March and April.

One that we have already finished editing and are ready to start loading onto the site is the “Tarpon on an Incoming Tide” featuring RJ Boyle and tarpon ninja Capt. Russell Kleppinger. Wow! There is a lot of actionable info in this one. Another great film that will come out with the tarpon film is “Cubera Snapper Fishing” featuring RJ Boyle and legendary Capt. Bouncer Smith. What a time we had filming with Bouncer. We look forward to our next project with him. Along with these two we will release the “Bait Fishing for Yellowfin Tuna” with RJ Boyle and Chip Sheehan. If you want to see a guy filled with passion that never stops working, spend a day with Chip. This guy is non-stop. The three of these films and related chapter videos will be out by the end of March.

Bark Garnsey Joins "In the Spread" to Talk BIG Marlin

In the course of producing In the Spread instructional videos, we always want to provide you with the very best the sport fishing world has to offer. In that vein, there is nobody more qualified or experienced to discuss big marlin fishing that Captain Bark Garnsey. By big marlin, I am talking about the biggest. There is no bigger sport fishing legend walking the earth. Whether you want to know more about targeting marlin on light tackle using bait and switch or on heavy tackle, Bark Garnsey is the king of kings.

Are we enthusiastic about the opportunity to film with Barkie? Yes, we are fired up! Captain Garnsey has caught so many big fish and several grander marlin as an angler and been the captain when many many more were caught. The most impressive aspect of what he brings to the table is that so much of his experience came while running the boat for another legend, Stewart Campbell, when they were targeting the very biggest marlin on super light tackle. None of their lures had hooks. They pitched baits to grander after grander after grander trying to set light tackle world records.

2014 Ramps Up for Full Throttle Media

The year is off to an aggressive start. Full Throttle Media will release 5 films in the first quarter and will shoot the years first seminar at the IGFA on Feb. 11th. "Tarpon on an Incoming Tide" and "Nighttime Tarpon" both featuring Russell Kleppinger, "Cubera Snapper" featuring Capt. Bouncer Smith, "Yellowfin Tuna" featuring Chip Sheehan and "High Speed Wahoo Trolling" featuring RJ Boyle will all be released through our production In the Spread (ITS). RJ Boyle hosts all 5 of these feature length instructional films. He will also be hosting the seminar, along with Skip Smith, at the IGFA. The seminar will feature Ron Schatman, Dean Panos, Casey Hunt, Stan Hunt and John Dudas. These are some big names.

Stay tuned for more information about upcoming releases and the launch of the In the Spread website. We hope that will launch next week. We have been really patient with the launch and are now frothing a bit to get it online.

In the Spread Has Released the Giant Bluefin Tuna Film Featuring Andy Moyes

The much anticipated Giant Bluefin Tuna film from In the Spread is now available. Featuring RJ Boyle and Andy Moyes, this in-depth production takes you through every step of what it takes to catch a grander bluefin tuna. Unreal, to say the least! Fishing out of Ballatynes Cove, in Nova Scotia, Andy and RJ get way outside the box in their discussions on heavy tackle, rigs, tactics and techniques for these blue monsters. This was an epic endeavor for all involved.

At first, the production team at Full Throttle Media was not sure how this film was going to turn out, due to some technical issues. But, at the end of the day, it may be the very best In the Spread production, to date.

Full Throttle Media Prepares to Release Seven New "In the Spread" Videos

Full Throttle Media is waiting for seven new In the Spread videos to arrive from our printing house, featuring RJ Boyle. With these new additions to the library, we will have 9 videos on the market. Following closely on the heels of this release will be 5 more videos. My guess is that by the second have of September, In the Spread will have 14 full feature instructional videos on the market. These videos run anywhere from an hour to three hours. Powerful stuff, to say the least!

We are also busily trying to finalize development on the InTheSpread.com platform. The site should launch with over a 100 video assets and participation by RJ Boyle, Glenn Cameron, Mike Tarmey, Andy Moyes, James Roberts, Chip Sheehan and Bouncer Smith. Many more of the sport fishing industries best minds will be joining is going forward.

A Sense of Fun

Never take yourself too seriously. When you loose your ability to enjoy what you do and those you work with, well, then work becomes mundane. And, who wants that? One thing the Full Throttle Media team and I always strive to maintain is a sense of fun. We are always laughing, clowning and doing silly things to keep the atmosphere convivial.

One of our current projects, "In the Spread with RJ Boyle", is spilling over with one serendipitous moment of hilarity after another. We really love doing what we do. Despite the serious nature of what we are producing, we all feel a pressing need to inject ample amounts of silliness. This makes our hard work that much more rewarding.

I am so blessed to work such a group of clowns. Thanks guys for all the fun times. There are many more ahead.

Full Throttle Media Rolls On With "In the Spread"

This past week, Full Throttle Media completed filming on five new videos for the In the Spread instructional video series featuring RJ Boyle. These five plus the two that are in post production right now will have the project releasing seven new videos by the end of April.

RJ Boyle was ecstatic following last weeks filming. "With nine intensely in-depth videos being on the market next month, the In the Spread production is really taking shape. We are coming up with exciting new ideas every time the Full Throttle Media guys come to town. This is off the chain what we are doing. There are at least another two dozen videos to film. And that's not all. We will be launching a sick video site in May."

There are many big announcements coming, so stay tuned.

Full Throttle Media to Redesign Production Process for "In the Spread"

Full Throttle Media's innovative project In the Spread prepares to launch a new production framework and a very interesting new set for in studio segments. Following the dredge fishing video featuring Captain Glenn Cameron, RJ Boyle and Full Throttle Media made the decision to revamp the production process to streamline the process for all future videos.

The goal behind this new approach is to shorten the production schedule, so we can get more videos to market sooner. This will provide a very engaging environment for the viewer and serve to creatively integrate our sponsors. Photos of the new sets buildout will be released as the construction process begins. Full Throttle Media Set For A Busy 2013

As 2013 commences, Full Throttle Media prepares for a busy schedule that has it filming projects all the way in to the fall. Starting next week, the production team will begin filming four videos for the In the Spread instructional series. With two DVD's on the market, two coming to market in the first quarter, the four to be shot next week will make eight videos for In the Spread. A further sixteen are slated for production later this year. There are also a couple of yet to be disclosed productions in planning. So, we have a lot on our minds. With fingers crossed, we roll on.

This will be a BIG year for Full Throttle Media. The team is excited and gunning for a big splash with our digital distribution platform, which should be online by the first of April. Stay tuned for more announcements and releases.

Steve Waters from the Sun-Sentinel says, "the In the Spread with RJ Boyle DVD offers keys to daytime swordfishing success. He goes on the write, Boyle freely shares his tactics with anglers at seminars and at RJ Boyle Studio, his Lighthouse Point tackle store and art gallery.

Between his store, his artwork, his seminars, his fishing and time with his family, Boyle has a hectic schedule. So he decided to record everything he knows about swordfishing in the DVD "Daytime Swordfishing."

"Having a tackle store and doing seminars, we're constantly bombarded with so many questions because daytime swordfishing is very technical," said Boyle, who has done daytiming seminars from Texas to New York. "It's very difficult to teach numerous customers at numerous times of the day about daytime swordfishing. Making the DVD was something we really had to do."

Unreal! In the Spread traveled to Nova Scotia with RJ Boyle to film giant bluefin tuna, but we had no idea what was in store for us. Lead by big game legend in the making Andy Moyes, we by all measures finished the shoot the first day. Full Throttle Media to Film Giant Bluefin Tuna in Nova Scotia

Giant bluefin tuna and the beautiful waters off Nova Scotia await. Have you ever thought about what it would feel like to strap yourself to a dump truck and get your arms stretched? Well, that is the plan for next week. The power of the giant bluefin will test the sporting will of any angler. This majestic behemoth forced innovation on the sport fishing industry starting in the early twentieth century.
