Panfish Fishing Central Florida
Late February proved to be the ideal time to target panfish in the wilderness of west central Florida with Capt. William Toney and In The Spread. The weather was ideal and the adventure outstanding. William does not target panfish on a regular basis, but he did a lot of this type of fishing in his younger years and knows where some real honey holes are to be found. These are springs, quarries and borrow pits that produced beautiful fish.
We filmed some really spectacular fishing and hiked through the some amazing backcountry. The sheer variety of breeds and colors on the panfish in this area is amazing. There are so many micro-environments to explore. We will have two videos out on fishing wilderness springs and quarries next week. Stay tuned and thanks for following.
